The Health Counseling program at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition offered this type of program. Lynn Levity

As a reflexologist, LynnLevity playshop founder and author of the e-book, "LynnLevity's Top Ten Simple Sense-ual Pleasures, Lynn Levy helps people change and transform into lighter, happier people.
It is the result of Lynn's spiritual and personal transformation which was intense and serious for several years. In 2005, Lynn received her certification in Reflexology and experienced Reiki for the first time. Since then, she has worked with and experienced intense energy clearings and healings, chanting, toning and meditation. In 2010, she came to a turning point where she decided she'd had enough seriousness and needed to bring more joy, levity, laughter, connection and fun into her life. Lynn has also taken clowning classes, and improv class with Peter Musante of The Blue Man Group.
With these experiences, she formed playshops that are a unique blend of exercises for adults including clowning, energy balancing, games, sensual food meditation and mini reflexology lessons. These Playshops will help people develop spirit-mind-body wholeness as well as more joy, laughter, passion, centeredness and, ultimately, personal transformation.
One of the most transformative and delightful of the Playshop activities is Theatrical Clowning; an interactive theater form based on surprise, spontaneity and being real in the moment.
This combination of Play and Spirituality is a potent blend for personal transformation; adults forget how to play. When adults connect to themselves and others through these activities, it is not only fun and exhilarating, but they learn about themselves, become more confident and build up their self-esteem. Exercises are customized for a particular group's needs and can be as basic or as advanced as needed.
“Interesting, Fun, Exciting!” - Elle K. ~
“Helps people to overcome certain mental/social walls and barriers.” - Jose R. ~
“Fun, Liberating, Self-Esteem Enhancing!” - Fernando L. ~

Diana Seo, founder and president of B Spa Bar. (B for Beauteaganics')

Diana Seo set out to set a new standard in medical day spas. Her strategy to skincare combines both Eastern and Western teachings. She attributes her holistic approach to her interests, which includes yoga, acupressure and reflexology. She firmly practices and preaches that balance is key to a healthy life. She believes that "Your body systems work together, therefore, they are interdependent of each other. Dull, sagging, unhealthy looking skin can be attributed to external and internal factors besides genetics. These factors include UV rays, pollution, smoke, exposure to toxic chemicals, stress, diet and lifestyle. Visible signs of aging are inevitable, but can be slowed dramatically with proper care."

Diana has had over ten years of combined experience in the health, medical, fashion and beauty fields. A graduate with advanced training from the Atelier Esthétique Institute of Esthetics, Diana Seo received her aesthetician license as well as the ITEC (International Therapy Examination Council) certification.

Having graduated with a Biophysics degree from the University of CT, Diana's involvement with the sciences only enhanced her experience and knowledge in the skincare, beauty and health industries. She went against her family's wish for her to be a doctor and pursued her passion to make people look and feel great about their skin, especially their face.

In the last five years, she has learned a great deal working with one of the most notable plastic surgeons in the world, Dr. Charles Thorne, author of the plastic surgery textbook "Grabb and Smith's Plastic Surgery".

She developed a keen sense in what people wanted and needed in the cosmetic beauty industry. After years of establishing relationships with patients, she realized that everyone had something in common, which was a desire to look and feel beautiful.

Diana is also very fascinated with teas, so she involved herself in the tea world by working with Tavalon, a premier loose-leaf tea company. Naturally, this led to creating her very own organic tea line, "Beauteaganics Beauty Blend" for her clients.

She eventually found the perfect partnership with Prive Salon (next to Soho Grand Hotel) to start the B Spa Bar concept.

Her Inspiration:

My inspiration started when I saw the need to revamp and revolutionize the spa industry that is too much of the same thing. I wanted to offer a spa environment that caters to savvy young professionals as well as the young at heart.

What is B Spa Bar and why is it so unique?

Beauteaganics Spa Bar is a new medical wellness spa at Prive Salon in Soho Grand Hotel.
